Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup Cognac (such as Camus VS)
  • 1/8 cup Calvados (apple brandy)
  • 1 tablespoon Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon pear liqueur (such as Rothman and Winter or Mathilde)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 dash of Angostura bitters
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 lime slice

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Cognac, Calvados, orange liqueur, pear liqueur, fresh lime juice, and Angostura bitters.
  2. Add ice to the shaker.
  3. Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 times.
  4. Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
  5. Float a lime slice on top of the cocktail.
