Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz tequila blanco
  • 0.75 oz cointreau or triple sec
  • 0.50 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.50 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup (2:1 ratio) (add more or less to taste)
  • 1 egg white
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of sugar
  • lime wedge
  • fresh rosemary
  • fresh cranberries

Instructions

  1. If doing a sugar salt rim, add a generous pinch of salt and sugar to a shallow bowl or plate.
  2. Wet the rim of your glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the sugar salt mixture, turning to coat.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
  4. In a cocktail shaker or large mason jar, combine tequila blanco, cointreau or triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, simple syrup, and 1 egg white.
  5. Shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds until well combined and frothy.
  6. Pour the margarita into the ice-filled glass and garnish with a sprig of rosemary and fresh cranberries.
