Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 oz strong coffee (hot)
  • 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream, lightly whipped

Instructions

  1. In a mug, add sugar and pour over the hot coffee. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add the whiskey and stir.
  3. Lightly whip the cream until it thickens to soft peaks. Optionally, add a dash of sugar to sweeten.
  4. Add a dollop of cream on top of the Irish coffee and serve.
