Ingredients

  • 2 oz brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz maple simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz pasteurized egg white
  • 1 Honey Crisp apple, roughly 1/8 inch thin slice
  • Bourbon (enough to coat the apple slice)
  • Maple syrup (enough to coat the apple slice)
  • Tupperware with lid
  • Shaker with strainer

Instructions

  1. Place the apple slice in a Tupperware container just big enough to hold it and coat it in bourbon and maple syrup. Let it sit for a minimum of an hour or overnight.
  2. Combine brandy, lemon juice, maple simple syrup, and egg whites in the shaker.
  3. Shake for 15 seconds, add ice, and shake for another 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  5. Lay the bourbon-marinated apple slice on top, then drink and enjoy!
