Ingredients
- 1/8 cup oats (coarser is preferred, but rolled oats can be used)
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 3/4 cup whisky
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl or jug, combine the oats and water, stirring well. Cover and let it soak for 24 hours.
- Strain the oats, ensuring to extract all the liquid using a fine tea strainer or muslin cloth.
- Mix the honey into the oat liquid.
- Stir in the whisky.
- Add the cream if desired and stir to combine.
