Ingredients

  • Black gel frosting
  • 2 oz lemon flavored vodka (or lemonade for mocktail)
  • 1/4 oz triple sec (optional for mocktail)
  • 2 oz blood orange juice or soda
  • Black sewing thread
  • Edible glue
  • Plastic spider

Instructions

  1. Use the black gel frosting to draw a spider web on the inside of a martini glass and freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. In a martini shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, triple sec, and blood orange juice. Shake for 10 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
  4. Before adding the liquid, create a hanging spider by using edible glue to attach black sewing thread to the plastic spider, then glue the other end to the edge of the glass, near the web.
