Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup
  • 3-4 drops of blood orange bitters
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • 10 ice cubes, divided

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the blood orange and lime juices and strain through a filter to remove pulp.
  2. In a shaker, muddle the kaffir lime leaf to extract the oils for flavor and aroma.
  3. Add the gin, bitters, blood orange juice, lime juice, maple syrup, and 4-5 ice cubes to the shaker.
  4. Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Place fresh ice cubes in a cocktail or wine glass, then pour the cocktail over the ice.
  6. Garnish with a slice of orange, lime, or blood orange wedges, or a kaffir lime leaf. Enjoy!
