Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco)
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec)
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1.50 oz cream of coconut
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon toasted coconut
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

Instructions

  1. If toasting coconut, heat a sauté pan on medium heat and toast chopped coconut flakes until golden brown.
  2. Rim the glass with the toasted coconut by dipping the edge in the garnish until coated.
  3. In a blender, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and cream of coconut.
