Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coarse ground coffee (similar to the grind for a french press)
  • Hot water (almost to a boil)
  • Ice
  • Vietnamese coffee filter

Instructions

  1. Place the sweetened condensed milk into an 8-10 oz glass.
  2. Fill the coffee filter with the ground coffee, screw on the screen, and place it over the glass with the sweetened condensed milk. Pour enough hot water to cover the grounds and let sit for 30 seconds.
  3. Loosen the filter screen screw, then pour hot water to the top of the filter. Cover and let it sit until the water has passed through the filter (about 5 minutes at a rate of 3-4 drips per second).
  4. Once the water has gone through the filter, remove it from the glass. Stir the coffee and sweetened condensed milk together, add ice, and enjoy!
